Stir-Fried Pork and Kimchi with Fragrant Sesame Oil

Today I will cook by using Kimuchi food.

Ingredients (for 2 servings)

  • Thinly sliced pork belly: 100g
  • Sesame oil: 1 teaspoon
  • Kimchi: 100g
  • Green onion: 100g
  • Garlic chives (nira): 50g
  • Soy sauce: 1 tablespoon

Preparation

  • Cut off the root ends of the green onion.
  1. Slice the green onion diagonally into thin slices. Cut the garlic chives into 3 cm (about 1 inch) lengths.
  2. Cut the pork belly into 3 cm wide pieces.
  3. Heat sesame oil in a frying pan and stir-fry the pork belly over medium heat.
  4. Once the pork is cooked through, add the kimchi and green onion, and continue stir-frying over medium heat.
  5. When the green onion becomes tender, add the garlic chives and soy sauce, then quickly stir-fry over medium heat and remove from the heat.
  6. Serve on a plate, and it’s ready to enjoy.

Tips & Tricks

  • Adding the soy sauce at the end helps prevent it from burning and makes it easier to achieve a nice finish.
  • You can adjust the amount of kimchi to suit your taste for a delicious dish.
